Football TV Rights 2010/ 2011 UK

This is the complete guide for Football TV Rights and Football TV Coverage in the UK and for watching Live Football on TV in the UK during the 2010 / 2011 football season. Several changes have taken place since the end last season.

Sky Sports will now show 115 live Premiership matches on TV and ESPN will now only show 23 live Premier League games.

However ESPN have acquired live FA Cup football TV rights for the next 4 seasons, including live matches from the first round onwards with 1 exclusively live semi final and shared live coverage of the FA Cup Final. ESPN have also won the rights to show England U21 home internationals as well as a number of live Euro 2012 qualifying matches and international friendlies.

Sky Sports have acquired rights to show England's away Euro 2012 Qualfiers and will therefore now show a number of matches from all of the home nations in their efforts to qualify for Poland & Ukraine 2012.

Premier Sports have recently won rights to show 30 Live Blue Square Premier League matches a season, including the Blue Square Premier League Play-Offs.
