From the start of the 2009/2010 season Live Football On BBC television includes live coverage of the Football League including Live Coca Cola Championship Football On TV with 10 exclusive first pick matches each season. Other Live Football On BBC includes Live Carling Cup Football with 2 legs of the semi finals and shared live coverage of the Carling Cup Final from Wembley.

BBC will also have Live Coverage of the 2010 World Cup from South Africa and will show the 2010 African Cup of Nations live.

BBC Scotland also has live coverage of Scottish FA Cup, including shared live coverage of the Scottish FA Cup Final Live from Hampden Park. BBC Scotland's live coverage also includes the Scottish League Cup including the Scottish League Cup Final.
